Funding boost for Housing First
Housing First – the model that prioritises permanent housing outcomes –recently received almost $200M from the government in a special Mothers’ Day announcement. The funding injection will pay for an additional 1,044 places in the programme, bringing the total number of people supported across the country to 2,700 over the next four years.
